Father's Day Healing Circle with Hapé Medicine

Father's Day is a triggering holiday for many. Social media becomes a space of grief and pain as people express their anger, frustrations and dissapointment with paternal figures. It is a much different from the love that is poured out on Mother's Day. This healing circle are for folks who are ready to release the pain surrounding fatherhood. From abandonment to abuse, this healing circle is intended to facilitate a step towards peace and forgiveness. 

To support our process we will use Hapé tobacco snuff. Hapé is made from a variety of sacred plants, tree ashes, and tobacco in its wild form. The tobacco is prepared by tribal medicine person in prayer and ritual.  Nicotiana Rustica is the type of tobacco used and it rewires neural pathways, decalcifies the pineal gland (third eye), aids in releasing negative entities from the body, and depending on the strand can have many medicinal benefits from treating arthritis, digestive issues, to releaving migraines. The tobacco is forcefully blown into each nostril through a kuripe, or self administered using a tepi.

Inaruti will be our facilitator for this ceremony. Inaruti is initiated in serving nunu, a special blend of tobacco made with cacao and a secret ingredient that only the tribal healer knows of. This specific strand can only be served by an initiate. However, she is also knowledgeable in other strands to support your intention and journey. Depending on the dosage, hape can be intense and may cause someone to purge, pass out, and/or have visions. However, the dosage will be determined by the participants intention, willingness and experience with sacred plants.
