Living from the Heart: Sacred Plants Medicine Retreat

Beloved community we are ignited to offer you 12 days designed to propel you into the absolute sacredness that is BEING. This mystical pilgrimage to the land of the Incas, Peru is to incite embodiment of the heart through ancestral plant medicines, meditations and cleansing rites at ancient sites led by Indigenous Shamans native to Sacred Valley.

Our intention is to unite you with the wealth that is your divine presence. Through plant journeys, meditations, connecting to ancestral lands and ceremony, we will offer an exploration and profound awareness to all that arises from within so that you may live and embody all that you are with a full & open heart. Your embodiment dwells in the subconscious becoming conscious. It is only when you bring true presence to all that resides in your heart that you can experience them as keys in unlocking the masterpiece that lives within you.

This retreat is to guide you back to your heart by being present to the internal now moment with divinity and grace. Through ceremony we will explore and be present to all that arises within from bodily sensations to thoughts and emotions. We practice stillness so that we can connect with our higher self and to feel our oneness with all of creation.

You will be able to enjoy the beautiful Sacred Valley and the town of Pisac with its beautiful crystal shops, delicious restaurants and laidback vibes. We will also have the opportunity to climb the Pisac Ruins and other sacred sites.

2 sacred plant ceremonies!

We will have the opportunity to be served in sacred plant ceremonies led in the Maha Temple. Ceremonies are filled with live music from The Sacred Valley Tribe that will nourish your heart and spirit. A private ceremony for our group will take place with our beloved Maestro Paullo.

The Pisac Market

On our last days of our journey we will be able to enjoy and go shopping at the Famous Pisac Market that is abundant with beautiful handmade drums, flutes, indigenous ponchos, hats and so much more!

Retreat Facilitators

Paullo Quente (he/him) is dedicated to sharing his ancestry and sacred knowledge with the world. He believes it is our mission to understand and accept the presence of the divine energy in every one of us, and in doing so we will inherit the great presence of this energy in our being, our home, our daily affairs, and in our world. He knows Peru profoundly and is well versed in guiding people from all over the world along the powerful sites of the Andes, while detailing the rich history of the Incan Empire. He is a Master of many sacred rituals and spiritual ceremonies and is a true blessing to both his students and his heritage. We are honored to have him be a part of this journey!

Antonio Cuevas (he/him) is Cacique (chief) of a Yucayeke (an Afro-Taíno village) in New York City. He is a medicine man with a strong Taíno lineage, originally from the island of Puerto Rico. He is best known for his passion for truths and for his hands-on involvement in helping awaken his own community by helping uncover their resilient strengths. Antonio believes in the power of the plant medicine Spirits and the empowering messages they bring to the people of his communities. He highlights the integration of the lessons given by the medicines during ceremonies. He works with people one-on-one, in group settings, social and sacred medicine circles - locally, nation-wide, and internationally, as Antonio leads mystical tours to sacred sites. His soul’s quest is to continue to be a humble and dedicated vessel for the insights and knowledge of Divine sacred medicines in all communities around the globe.

Joel Nahual Altair (he/him) a spiritual mentor, experience alchemist, soul business coach and entheogen researcher, empowering others to transform their lives for the better. Founder of The City of Light Evolutionary Journeys Kawsaytika Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant, both in The Sacred Valley of Peru, his mission is to share the ancient knowledge and cultures of the world and bring light and awareness to global issues. His passion lies in creating evolutionary and life changing experiences for humanity and is a true example that the Universe smiles to those who see the beauty in all things.

Inaruti Araní (she/her) is the creatrix behind Modern Mystics NYC. As far as she can recall she has always considered herself a soul that was destined to serve. She passionately believes that offering her skills set to better the lived of others is not an undertaking but more so a sacred responsibility. In early 2013, she was introduced to holistic healing and the powerfuL medicine of meditation and yoga. She dived into studying the occult and mystical theologies of the world. Through her dedication and consistent practice, she began to gain full access of her intuitive and psychic gifts. She understood that what she had to offer was a combination of the spiritual and the worldly. She used sacred tools alongside practical and real resources to offer holistic support as a teacher, birthkeeper and medicine woman. She understands that a high caliber of life stems from a balanced integration of mind, body and soul and this is what Inaruti offers.
